Kerry Smithies is a highly skilled Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, accounting software implementation, and project and fund accounting. Most notably she is highly adept at identifying an organization’s needs and recommending sound business strategies. She is also skilled in implementing processes to effectively address a range of reporting requirements. Kerry is a thorough communicator who excels in ensuring solid internal and external working relationships.
During her 30 years of experience, Kerry has worked with a variety of different organizations and has extensive experience working with high-tech companies and not for profit organizations, supervising other personnel, and solving problems in creative ways. During that time, Kerry also served as a facilitator and online trainer with the Chartered Accounting School of Business (CASB) and developed online accounting and finance courses with an international training and development organization.

Kerry is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC (Canada) and Australia. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Curtin University, and a Bachelor of Business from the Western Australian Institute of Technology.
In her spare time, when not spending time with her daughters, Kerry enjoys laughing with friends, dancing, and practicing yoga.
